Privacy Policy

Controller

Responsible for data processing on this website: contact via email at gluecksburg@stack.rip.

This site is a private, non-commercial hobby project run without profit motive and without advertising, so no separate legal-notice (Impressum) page is required under German law.

General

This website has no user accounts, no forms, and sets no cookies of its own.

Hosting & server log files

This site is served as a static site via Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as IP address, time of access, page requested, browser and operating system (server log files). This serves the technical operation and security of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest).

Analytics (Umami)

Page views are measured anonymously using the self-hosted, open-source software Umami (script served from ax.y0.rs). Umami uses no cookies and no cross-device recognition of individual visitors. The IP address is used only briefly for coarse, country-level location and is not stored afterwards. Data is not shared with third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in usage analysis).

Map display

The interactive map loads map tiles from CARTO (basemaps.cartocdn.com) based on OpenStreetMap data. Loading the map sends your IP address to CARTO. See CARTO's and OpenStreetMap's own privacy notices.

Weather radar

The rain radar section embeds an iframe from ehrlichwetter.de. Loading it sends your IP address to ehrlichwetter.de. See ehrlichwetter.de's own privacy policy.

Links to Google Maps

Places and fuel stations link out to Google Maps. These links only open a new page after you click them; no data is sent to Google beforehand.

Local storage of your language setting

Your chosen language is stored in your browser's localStorage so it can be reused on your next visit. This information never leaves your device.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Questions: gluecksburg@stack.rip.
